Simoncelli motorcycle handed over to the parents



Department of Racing Honda (HRC) has been officially handed over the two motors to Paolo and Rossella Simoncelli on Saturday (14/7). This step is done to commemorate their son who died in a terrible accident in MotoGP Malaysia, Marco Simoncelli.

Simoncelli's RC212V race bike and motorcycle CBR1000RR with the theme "Super SIC" published in the Mugello Circuit, Italy in the Italian rider tribute show. The event was attended by all and even then parties MotoGP, who wanted to join the family Simoncelli.

HRC Vice President, Shuhei Nakamoto is the person who gave to dad Simoncelli RC212V bike. Motor is rumored to be on display at the Museum Simoncelli of Italy.

Meanwhile, Honda Europe Motorcycle Division Director, Minoru Kato handed motor "Super SIC" design that is specifically designed by Aldo Drudi.


Motor "Super SIC" will be auctioned through Ebay in the coming weeks, and the results will be donated to the Marco Simoncelli Foundation.
